In 2021, Rising Sun Coffee Co was founded with a purpose: to serve coffee and to love people through that. The journey began when my late husband, Mason, and I went on a 20 day road trip out west. On that trip we passed multiple espresso huts/coffee kiosks and began to dream about one day having something similar in our community. That dream quickly became a reality with the help of our family and friends. In May of 2021 Mason and I served our first drink out of the window of our coffee truck. We were incredibly blessed to have had 5 months together on this truck, until he went to be with the Lord on November 29th, 2021.

Since then, Mason’s family and I have been dedicated to serving our community and ensuring each and every cup of coffee is of excellence. As we reflect on our journey, the expansion of our new coffee cart is more than just a reveal; it serves as a testament to how far we’ve come and how good our God is.
